Hey Parents,

Your child loves to cook - Brilliant!

But finding recipes that match their age and skill level? That’s not so easy. The internet is packed with content, but most of it isn’t designed for kids. Your child has probably ended up watching endless You-tube videos, only to try a recipe with hard-to-find ingredients that end up sitting unused at the back of the pantry. (Yep, we’ve all been there.)

We take the guesswork out of teaching your child to cook. Our step-by-step skills pathway is designed just for junior chefs, with easy-to-follow video lessons and recipes tailored to their age and ability.

Kids start right where they’re at - whether they’re brand new to the kitchen (1 star cook) or already a 2-star cook and work their way up to a 4-star cook, building real kitchen skills along the way - confidence, creativity, and independence included.

Each skill video is paired with a practical, tasty recipe - so kids aren’t just learning, they’re creating meals they’ll be proud of (and actually want to eat).

Backed by over a decade of hands-on experience, we’ve created a program that helps kids aged 6–14 grow in kitchen confidence, right from home.

Scroll down to explore the program - and let’s get cooking! 👩‍🍳

Meet BETH

The Founder of Kids Love To Cook

In 2014, Beth launched Kids Love to Cook with a simple but powerful mission: to teach kids how to cook while helping them build essential life skills along the way.

What started as a small idea quickly grew into a movement, fuelled by her passion for empowering children through hands-on learning in the kitchen.

Over the years, Beth and her team have cooked with tens of thousands of kids - in schools, vacation care centres, community festivals, private workshops, and through online classes for individuals, corporate groups, and the thriving Kids Cooking Club.

Along the way, the team realised something important: while one-off cooking classes were fun, they weren’t giving kids the tools for consistent, lasting learning. Kids needed to learn in their own kitchens, at their own pace, with regular practice—not just at special events. That realisation inspired the creation of our at-home cooking program, built from the same hands-on lessons we had been teaching in person.

This shift has allowed us to reach not only local families, but also kids in regional, rural, and remote communities—ensuring that every child, no matter where they live, has the chance to learn to cook and grow in kitchen confidence.

Beth is passionate about wholesome family food and creating memorable experiences in the kitchen. She’s a lifelong learner, a devoted fan of cooking shows, and an avid reader of self-help books and Yorkshire-based detective mysteries. (And yes—her phone is overflowing with bookmarked recipes.)

Most importantly, she’s a proud mum to four adult daughters and wife to her biggest cheerleader, Jeremy.
