Open Class - This class is open to children aged 6-15 years, who do not necessarily have any previous experience in the kitchen.
We are super happy to have kids who have already completed a year of Kindergarten. This ensures they can keep up with the rest of the kids, and are able to concentrate for the full session.
Intermediate Class - This class is open to children aged 9-15 years and who are able to hold attention for 2 hours. There is an expectation that the kids who complete this class have some experience in the basics of cooking.
Extended Class - This class is open to children 10-15 years who want to extend their skills and regularly cook at home. There is an expectation that they have or are ready to use sharp knives, and can work with little supervision.
Adult and Child Class - These sessions are open for 1 adult to bring along 1-2 children. This is always a fun session working together and a lovely memory-making opportunity. This is a fabulous opportunity for grandparents, aunties/uncles or any special adult, to spend some time working together. Join up with some friends, and bring the kids.
Parents are welcome to stay and view the workshops from the shady garden undercover courtyard, or you can also leave your child with us for the workshop duration. There are several fabulous cafe's located within a 5 minute walk where you grab a coffee.
Child Protection is our priority. All of our Presenters have First Aid Certificates, Food Safety Supervision, and all staff have current NSW Working With Children Checks.
