Strawberry Sorbet

  • 600g (6 cups) Fresh Strawberries
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt


1. Cut the strawberries and add to food processor and process until smooth.
2. Add the sugar into the processor and blend for 30 seconds.
3. Add lemon and salt.
4. Strain the mixture into a loaf pan.
5. Place in fridge for 2 to 3 hours until very cold.
6. Using a ice-cream maker, churn the cold sorbet and then freeze for 3 hours
7. Once frozen, it can be eaten as is or used in a sundae.
