Halloumi Bread


  • 1 kilo plain flour
  • 250g halloumi cheese diced
  • Fresh chopped mint
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cups warm water


  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and a pinch of sugar.
  2. Put all ingredients into large bowl and add yeast mixture. Knead into dough.
  3. Put into large greased cake tin. Wait till the dough rises to fill the tin to the top.
  4. Cook on 220' for 30-45mins.
